Objectives : The degree program Master of Science in Geodesy and Geoinformation is designed to deepen and broaden the engineering knowledge and skills in surveying acquired during the Bachelor’s program. Student will specialize in a sub-field of geodesy or geoinformation and acquire specific technological knowledge required for a successful future career in this area. The wide variety and combination possibilities of the various modules and optional courses allow students to address their personal interests in the area. A mentoring system supports each student during the process of selecting suitable courses and subjects.

Admission requirements : Requirements for admission to the Master’s degree program (and thereby university enrollment) consist of a Bachelor of Arts degree or Bachelor of Science degree in a similar area. Admission to the Master’s Degree program may also depend on additional requirements. Specific degree entrance requirements may be found here.
Targeted careers : Geodesy (surveying) can be roughly divided into three specialist areas: engineering, state and cadastral or property surveying. In addition to working at a desk, on-site and external appointments are part of the work of surveyors.
In addition, they are involved in the development of modern geographic information or satellite navigation systems. There is a strong relationship here with information technology.
